Norehan Aly (PsyD Candidate) is an American-Egyptian Counseling Psychologist and International Affiliate of the American Psychological Association. She is also a Certified Advanced Grief Counseling Specialist and specialises in providing adult, couples, family, and group therapy, & psychoeducational workshops. Norehan is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from California Southern University. In this episode, Norehan discusses the cycle of grief from a theoretical point of view, how we can support people who are going through grief, and the signs that we should take seriously when it comes to a loved one going through grief. Norehan also touches on the guidance she would offer to individuals who have been faced with a change that they did not account for nor expect, such as parents of children with special needs.
